JUMP ROPE AND HOOPS FOR HEART

JANUARY 30, 2009

CCCS GYM @ 1:00

Our students will be participating in this community service program to raise funds for the American Heart Association to fight against our nation's No. 1 and No. 3 killers -- cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

We believe this event will help our students understand the importance of community service and physical activity while helping to save lives.

Letters and collection envelopes were sent home with the students encouraging all to participate by collecting donations for this event.  Additional collection envelopes are available in the school office or you can download/print the information below.

You can also go on-line to send e-mails asking family and friends for donations at www.americanheart.org/jump or www.americanheart.org/hoops.

Students should NOT go door-to-door or ask strangers for donations.  Only ask family, friends, neighbors and people you know.  Checks should be made payable to the American Heart Association.

All proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association
